Wycombe Homeless Connection help people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in High Wycombe and the surrounding area. They assist with emergency food, clothing and bedding and run a winter night shelter during January, February and March. They also work to find accommodation for people who are homeless, assist clients to register and bid for social housing and support with hostel applications. In some cases, they offer financial assistance for the costs of moving into accommodation. Furthermore, they help people who are at risk of homelessness to try to help them avoid being evicted.

Aylesbury Housing Action Group was started in 2009 to provide housing support and advice within Aylesbury. It began as a drop-in centre before securing a premises on Rickfords Hill. This enabled the charity to offer one to one support and a training room with computers and phones for those looking for housing, employment and education. For the past few years they have also offered emergency accommodation during the winter period. This was initially in partnership with local churches before Aylesbury Vale District Council provided them with a venue.
Herts Young Homeless

Herts Young Homeless have been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. They have a variety of free services open to 16-24 year olds who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and a health service which has no upper age limit. They provide information and advice as well as access to emergency accommodation. The charity also work closely with Herts County Council, local district councils and other agencies to improve local provision and prevent youth homelessness.
The Brett Foundation

The Brett Foundation support the homeless and families that are living in poverty and those who have fallen on hard times. Working with their sister charity, Foodshare, they provide food for those who cannot afford to eat every day. They also provide temporary shelter for homeless and provide homeless packs which contain items to make living on the streets more bearable. Our donation will contribute towards the running costs of the work they do.
North London Action for the Homeless

North London Action for the Homeless

North London Action for the Homeless provide a drop-in centre in Stoke Newington, Hackney for the homeless and those in needy circumstances. Twice weekly they provide a three course meal for up to 120 people. The drop-in service is about providing a healthy meal to those in need in a safe, community space. They also run a garden project in which they grow vegetables for the drop-in in conjunction with their service users. Our donation will contribute towards the running costs of their drop-in service.
Youth Concern

Youth Concern offers help and support to vulnerable young people aged 13-25 years, many of whom have complex needs. Their drop-in centre in Whitehill Lane, Aylesbury offers young people a safe place to meet and access guidance, support and counselling. Our donation will contribute towards ‘The Next Step’ project. Through this project Youth Concern will be able to provide a safe home for up to 20 young people a year who are experiencing homelessness and offer support around health, skills, employment and resettlement.
